Booking and enquiries

What is the difference between booking and enquiring?

A consultation or session is a fixed length and you book a time. Ongoing services such as bookkeeping are scoped first: you send an enquiry and we reply with questions and a written scope and fee.

Is a request the same as a booking?

No. A request is a message to us. A consultation is booked only when we send you a confirmation message.

How long until you reply?

We reply within 1 working day (example), Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Can I change or cancel?

Please give 24 hours' notice (example policy) by message and we will find a new time.

Fees and scope

Are the fees fixed?

Fees are from-prices and are examples in this demo. For ongoing work the fee depends on your records, so we confirm it in writing before work starts.

What if the work turns out bigger than expected?

We tell you before doing more than the agreed scope and agree any change in writing first.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer after we issue an invoice (example). Nothing is paid online in this demo.

About our advice

Do you give legal or investment advice?

No. We prepare and explain accounts and tax records. For legal questions, ask a lawyer.

Who sets filing deadlines?

The tax authority and other bodies set them. We remind you of the ones that apply to the work you have asked us to do.
